Additions BREAD - Page 19WRAPS Mountain Bread - Not Pat Yisrael Mountain Bread wraps are pat palter unless bearing a special KA sticker stating "pat Yisrael". Special pat Yisrael batches have been produced for export and it is hoped to expand the availability of pat Yisrael product in the near future. As a general rule pat palter may be consumed especially if a bread of similar quality is not available. Shulchan Aruch however suggests that pat palter not be consumed on Shabbat or during the 10 days of repentance. Consult your personal Rav for further direction. It is our considered opinion that the blessing on All bran is mezonot, even though this would not be the blessing on pure bran which is the outer shell of a wheat kernel. All bran cereal contains a significant amount of flour from the inner grain (which is normal flour). The company informs us that this portion of the grain provides essential taste and texture.
